Here's a Canadian pressing of REO Speedwagon's commercial breakthrough that transformed five guys from Champaign, Illinois into arena rock royalty. Hi Infidelity marked the band's dramatic shift from their earlier progressive rock roots to the polished, radio-friendly sound that would dominate the early 80s. Kevin Cronin's return as lead vocalist after a brief departure proved to be the missing piece, and his songwriting partnership with Gary Richrath produced some of the decade's most enduring anthems. The album spent 15 consecutive weeks at number one and became the best-selling rock album of 1981, spawning four top-twenty hits including "Keep On Loving You" and "Take It on the Run."
