Rick Springfield (born 1949 in Sydney, Australia) is a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the early 1980s with hits like “Jessie’s Girl.” He balanced a successful music career with acting roles, including a long-running stint on General Hospital.

Released in 1984, Hard to Hold is the official soundtrack to the film of the same name, starring Springfield himself.
