Robert Gordon was a New York rockabilly revivalist who made his name in the late 1970s working closely with guitarist Link Wray, helping to bring classic 1950s-style rock and roll back to a new audience. "Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die" came out in 1982 on RCA and finds Gordon continuing in that same vein of hard-driving rockabilly and roots rock and roll. The album features his characteristic approach of channeling early Elvis and Gene Vincent-style energy through a contemporary recording.
