Rod Stewart's "The Rod Stewart Collection" is a 1977 Canadian compilation released on the Starbrite label, drawing together tracks from his career spanning his early solo work through his mid-70s commercial peak. Stewart rose to fame as a raspy-voiced British rock and soul singer, first with the Faces and then as a massively successful solo artist. Compilations of this era typically pull from albums like "Every Picture Tells a Story" and "Atlantic Crossing," featuring tracks such as "Maggie May" and "Tonight's the Night."
