Caress of Steel is Rush's third studio album, released in 1975 by Anthem Records. The Canadian prog rock trio — Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart — delivered an ambitious and at the time commercially disappointing record that pushed into longer, more complex territory. Side two is dominated by the nearly twenty-minute epic "The Fountain of Lamneth," while side one includes "Bastille Day" and the more accessible "Lakeside Park."
