Ryan's Fancy was a Canadian folk trio known for their spirited performances of traditional Irish and Newfoundland music, and Looking Back was released in 1972 on the Audat label. The group blended Celtic folk traditions with East Coast Canadian influences, featuring jigs, reels, and ballads drawn from the Irish and Newfoundland repertoire. They were a popular fixture on the Canadian folk circuit throughout the early 1970s and built a strong following particularly in Atlantic Canada.
