- Well I guess most people will purchase the Supernatural DVD if they want a live collection of Santana songs. I've got that DVD and yes it's good, but this one is better. Why? Because Santana has assembled some great players in Denis Chambers on drums and Billy Preston on organ, not to mention his usual persussion ensemble. But it's the songs that count and this show has, in my opinion, a good rounded selection of his greatest hits over the years including a staggering rendition of Soul Sacrifice.
The visuals and sound quality are surprisingly good in this age of HDMI despite the number of years that have passed since it was recorded. And the entire band just seem to be really enjoying themselves.
If you want to dip into the world of Santana's music, you'll not go wrong with this one.
