Mary Frances Davis (born December 30, 1931, Dry Ridge, Kentucky, USA – died September 19, 2004, Nashville, Tennessee, USA) was an American country music singer and songwriter. Her grandfather thought she had a lot of energy for a young child, and nicknamed her "Skeeter" (slang for mosquito).
