Stanley Holloway was a beloved British entertainer known for his comic monologues and character work, perhaps best remembered for playing Alfred P. Doolittle in the original My Fair Lady. Released in 1967 on the Golden Wonderland label, this Canadian pressing collects Holloway performing children's stories and nursery rhyme material, making use of his warm, distinctive voice and natural storytelling ability. It sits somewhere between spoken word and light entertainment, aimed at young listeners.
