Steve Miller Band's "Circle of Love" came out in 1981 on Capitol Records, arriving during a commercially strong stretch for the group following their late-70s run of hits. The album is a mix of polished pop rock and softer rock, leaning toward the smoother, radio-friendly direction Miller had been moving in. "Heart Like a Wheel" received solid airplay at the time, and the extended title track takes up most of one side of the record.
