Best of Styx is a 1977 compilation from the Chicago rock band Styx, released on RCA Victor and drawing from their early catalog before they hit mainstream superstardom. The collection covers their harder, more straightforward rock material from the early-to-mid 1970s, including the fan favorite "Lady" and "Witch Wolf." Styx would go on to much bigger commercial success later in the decade with albums like Equinox and The Grand Illusion, making this an interesting snapshot of their earlier sound.
