Kilroy Was Here is a 1983 concept album from Chicago rock band Styx, released on A&M Records. Built around a dystopian narrative about a future where rock music has been banned, the album leans heavily into synthesizers and a theatrical, new wave-adjacent sound that marked a shift from their earlier progressive rock style. "Mr. Roboto" became a major hit single, and "Don't Let It End" also charted well.
