Supertramp's fourth studio album, released in 1977 on A&M Records, finds the British prog-pop group continuing the melodic, polished sound they developed on "Crisis? What Crisis?" and would soon perfect on "Breakfast in America." The record blends lush piano-driven arrangements with the band's signature mix of rock and pop sensibilities, featuring Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies sharing songwriting and vocal duties. "Give a Little Bit" was the album's standout single, receiving substantial radio airplay, while the side-long closing track "From Now On" showcases the group's more ambitious, extended compositional style.
