T. Rex was a pioneering British glam rock band led by Marc Bolan, whose flamboyant style and fuzzed-out riffs helped define early 1970s rock. Originally a psychedelic folk duo called Tyrannosaurus Rex, the group evolved into glam icons with hits like “Get It On,” “Jeepster,” and “20th Century Boy.” Bolan’s charisma and songwriting influenced artists from David Bowie to The Smiths.
Released in 1985, T. Rextasy compiles the band’s most iconic singles from their peak years, all written by Bolan and produced by Tony Visconti.
The Canadian pressing features bilingual label text and Warner’s high-fidelity mastering for domestic collectors.
