Taco is a Dutch-Indonesian singer born in Jakarta, best known for his 1982 hit "Puttin' on the Ritz," a synth-pop reimagining of the Irving Berlin standard that became a worldwide smash. Let's Face The Music, released in 1984 on RCA, is his second album and follows a similar formula of polished electronic pop and lavish orchestrated arrangements, with Taco revisiting the Great American Songbook alongside original material. The album continues his knack for blending vintage showbiz sensibility with 1980s production aesthetics.
