Terry Jacks was a Canadian pop singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the early 1970s, both as a solo artist and as part of the husband-and-wife duo The Poppy Family, which also featured vocalist Susan Jacks. This 1976 K-Tel compilation brings together tracks from all three acts, spanning soft pop and easy listening material from that era. Jacks is best known for his 1974 solo hit "Seasons in the Sun," a melodramatic ballad that reached number one in multiple countries, and The Poppy Family scored their own success with "Which Way You Goin' Billy" in 1970.
