The Boys of the Lough were a Scottish-Irish folk group featuring Cathal McConnell, Robin Morton, Aly Bain, and Dave Richardson, who came together in the early 1970s to perform traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, and Shetland. This 1974 release on Rounder Records was their second full-length album, continuing the instrumental and vocal blend of reels, jigs, airs, and songs drawn from the Celtic folk tradition that defined their approach.
