The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem's 1959 debut album on Tradition Records, *Come Fill Your Glass With Us* is an early and foundational recording from this Irish folk group that helped spark a broader American interest in traditional Irish music during the folk revival era. The album collects drinking songs and rowdy comic ballads drawn from Irish tradition, performed with acoustic guitar, tin whistle, and the group's characteristic unison and harmony vocals. Tracks like "Whiskey You're the Devil" and "The Jug of Punch" became closely associated with the group and remained staples of their live performances for years.
