The Doors' first album recorded without Jim Morrison, released in 1971 following his death earlier that year. The remaining three members — Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore — share vocal duties across a set of blues-tinged rock tracks, with Manzarek and Krieger each taking the lead on various songs. The album has a somewhat looser, more experimental feel compared to the classic Doors catalog, leaning into keyboard-driven arrangements and guitar work.
