The Fabulous Thunderbirds were a Texas-based blues rock band led by vocalist and harmonica player Kim Wilson, with guitarist Jimmie Vaughan. Tuff Enuff, released in 1986 on CBS/Epic, was their commercial breakthrough, blending Chicago-style blues with rock and a polished 80s production sound. The title track "Tuff Enuff" became their biggest hit, receiving heavy radio and MTV airplay, and "Wrap It Up" also got significant attention from that record.
