Days of Future Passed is the 1967 debut album from the Moody Blues, a British rock band that transitioned from their earlier R&B sound into a pioneering blend of rock and orchestral music recorded with the London Festival Orchestra. The album is a loose concept piece following the course of a single day, and it effectively launched the symphonic rock genre. It includes "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon," both of which became well-known tracks, with "Nights in White Satin" achieving particular chart success when re-released in the early 1970s.
