The Moody Blues' "On the Threshold of a Dream" is the third studio album from the Birmingham, England rock group, released in 1969. Part of their celebrated late-1960s run of orchestral rock records, the album blends psychedelic rock with spoken word passages and the band's signature use of the Mellotron, continuing the sound established on "Days of Future Passed" and "In Search of the Lost Chord." Tracks like "Never Comes the Day" and "Dear Diary" are among the highlights, and the album reached number one on the UK charts upon release.
