The Ozark Mountain Daredevils were a country rock band from Springfield, Missouri, and "It'll Shine When It Shines" was their second studio album, released in 1974 on A&M Records. The record follows in the same vein as their debut, blending country, folk, and rock with a relaxed, rural Americana feel. "Jackie Blue" became their biggest hit single and appears here, along with the laid-back title track.
