The Parachute Club were a Toronto-based collective who blended new wave, reggae, funk, and world music influences into a sound that was distinctly their own. At The Feet Of The Moon is their second album, released in 1984 on the Current label, following their debut which produced the well-known single "Rise Up." This record continues in a similar vein, with politically conscious lyrics and a danceable, rhythm-driven style that drew from a wide range of influences and featured the vocals of Lorraine Segato.
