Dirty Work is the Rolling Stones' 1986 studio album, released during a notably turbulent period in the band's history when Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were at serious odds with each other. The record leans toward a harder, more guitar-driven sound with production from Steve Lillywhite, and includes the single "Harlem Shuffle," a cover of the 1963 Bob & Earl track that became the album's most commercially visible moment. Richards takes lead vocals on a handful of tracks, including "Sleep Tonight," reflecting his increased role given Jagger's divided attention at the time.
