The Seeds were a Los Angeles garage rock band led by Sky Saxon, known for their raw, stripped-down sound and proto-punk energy. Future, released in 1967 on GNP Crescendo, marked a shift toward a more psychedelic direction, with Saxon leaning into cosmic and flower-power themes while retaining the group's characteristically fuzzy guitar work. It's a somewhat looser, more experimental record compared to their earlier work, reflecting the broader cultural moment of 1967.
