The Temptations' *Together Again* is a 1987 Motown release that marked a reunion of the classic lineup, bringing back original members alongside longtime staples of the group. The album sits squarely in the mid-80s soul and funk sound, reflecting the production trends of that era rather than the group's earlier Motown heyday. It was a modest commercial effort during a period when the group was working to reestablish their footing on the label.
