Thompson Twins' third studio album, released in 1984 on Arista Records, finds the British synth-pop trio at the peak of their commercial success. The record is a polished blend of electronic pop and new wave, driven by sleek synthesizers and the vocal interplay of Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie, and Joe Leeway. "Hold Me Now" and "Doctor! Doctor!" were both major international hits, making this one of the more recognizable synth-pop releases of the mid-80s.
