Three Dog Night's eighth studio album, released in 1972 on Dunhill Records, finds the Los Angeles vocal trio continuing their run of polished pop rock with a mix of covers and outside songwriting. The album produced the hit singles "Black and White" and "Never Been to Spain," both of which charted well and received substantial radio play. Like much of their catalog, it leans on strong vocal harmonies and commercially accessible arrangements typical of early 1970s mainstream rock.
