Tom Robinson was a British rock musician who rose to prominence in the late 1970s fronting the Tom Robinson Band before later recording as a solo artist. This 1987 Canadian Capitol Records compilation collects material spanning his work from 1977 through 1987, covering both the TRB era and his subsequent output. His music sits in the rock and new wave territory of that period, with a distinctly political edge, and the collection includes his best-known tracks "2-4-6-8 Motorway" and "Glad to Be Gay."
