Here's a piece of Canadian rock history that doesn't surface very often – Toronto's sophomore effort "Get It On Credit" on the original Solid Gold pressing from 1982. This quintet emerged from the ashes of several Toronto scene bands and managed to craft something that sat perfectly between the arena rock bombast of the late 70s and the sleeker production values creeping into the early 80s. The album showcases Holly Woods' powerful vocals alongside some surprisingly sophisticated songwriting, particularly on tracks like "Your Daddy Don't Know" which became a genuine radio hit north of the border and even managed some MTV rotation during the network's early years.
