Valdy And The Hometown Band is a 1976 Canadian folk rock album released on A&M Records, featuring British Columbia singer-songwriter Valdy backed by the Hometown Band. The record continues in the warm, acoustic-leaning style Valdy built his reputation on through the early to mid-1970s, blending folk sensibilities with a fuller band sound. Valdy had already established himself as a fixture of the Canadian folk scene before this release, known for songs like "Rock And Roll Song."
