Vanilla Fudge is the 1967 debut album from the New York rock group of the same name, released on ATCO Records. The band made their name with slow, heavily arranged psychedelic rock interpretations of contemporary pop songs, stretching them out with organ-driven intensity and layered vocals. Their elongated cover of the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On" became their signature track and is featured here alongside similarly reimagined versions of songs by the Beatles and Sonny and Cher.
