RCA Camden's "Great Jazz Pianists" is a budget-line compilation drawing from RCA's jazz catalog, featuring performances from notable pianists in the classic and swing jazz traditions. Camden releases of this type typically pulled from 1940s and 1950s recordings, presenting accessible entry points into artists like Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, or similar figures depending on the specific volume. Without a confirmed release year, it likely dates somewhere between the late 1950s and late 1960s, when Camden was actively reissuing material from RCA's deep back catalog.
