Various artists compilation released on A&M Records in 1976, centered around the theme from the long-running CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless," which became widely known after being used during Nadia Comaneci's gold medal gymnastics performances at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The collection sits in easy listening and soft rock territory, featuring instrumental and vocal interpretations of Barry DeVorzon and Perry Botkin Jr.'s melody alongside other light pop and theme-oriented material. The title track, originally composed for the soap opera, gained significant mainstream exposure that year due to its Olympic association.
