Pretty In Pink is the 1986 soundtrack to John Hughes' film of the same name, released on A&M Records. It captures the mid-80s alternative and synth-pop sound that defined the era, featuring tracks from The Psychedelic Furs, whose "Pretty in Pink" serves as the title song, along with contributions from OMD, New Order, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, and Echo and the Bunnymen. New Order's "Shell Shock" and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark's "If You Leave" were among the more prominent singles from the record.
