Rhinestone is the 1984 soundtrack to the Sylvester Stallone and Dolly Parton comedy film of the same name. The album is dominated by Dolly Parton, who wrote or co-wrote most of the material and handles the bulk of the vocal performances, with Stallone also appearing on several tracks in his singing debut. The music is country-pop, fitting the film's premise of turning a New York cab driver into a country singer. It includes Parton's "Tennessee Homesick Blues," which received some radio attention at the time.
