Some Kind of Wonderful is the 1987 soundtrack to John Hughes' coming-of-age film of the same name, released on his own Hughes Music label. The album pulls together a mix of new wave and alternative rock tracks from artists including Flesh For Lulu, Stephen Duffy, Propaganda, and Pete Shelley, fitting the mid-80s teen film aesthetic Hughes had become known for. It also features the title track by Can't Stop the Music and contributions from Lick the Tins, whose acoustic cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love" appeared prominently in the film.
