Here's a piece of 1980s Canadian rock history that often flies under the radar of collectors focused on original pressings. The Fabulous 60's Volume Three - Rockin' represents Quality Special Products' ambitious attempt to capture the essence of a transformative decade in rock and roll. Quality, a Toronto-based label with deep roots in Canadian music distribution, had the licensing connections to assemble these compilation series with tracks that weren't always easy to secure for budget releases. While the late 80s saw countless nostalgia compilations flooding the market, Quality's approach was notably more thoughtful in their curation and pressing quality compared to many of their contemporaries.
