Thoroughly Modern Millie is the 1967 soundtrack to the Universal Pictures musical comedy film of the same name, starring Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore, and Carol Channing. The music was composed and arranged by Elmer Bernstein, with songs written by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, drawing on a mix of big band jazz, Broadway-style showstoppers, and period 1920s musical pastiche. The title track and "Jazz Baby" are among the standout numbers, performed by Andrews and the cast. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Music Score that year.
