Wild Stereo Drums is a 1961 Capitol Records compilation featuring various artists performing a mix of jazz, Latin, Afro-Cuban, and big band material designed to showcase stereophonic sound. The record pulls together rumba, swing, and exotica-flavored tracks with percussion-heavy arrangements typical of the space-age pop era. It was part of a wave of hi-fi demonstration records Capitol produced during the early stereo period, aimed at listeners looking to show off their new stereo equipment.
