Cruisin' is the second studio album from Village People, the American disco group known for their costumed personas and campy, anthemic style, released in 1978 on Casablanca Records. The album contains two of their most enduring tracks, "Y.M.C.A." and "In the Navy," both of which became massive crossover hits and remain among the most recognizable songs of the disco era. The record is straightforward dancefloor-oriented disco with funk underpinnings, built around producer Jacques Morali's signature sound of big brass arrangements and call-and-response vocals.
