Waylon Jennings' 1968 LP on RCA Victor collecting some of his early country recordings, featuring covers and standards that showcase his developing outlaw sound before he fully broke from the Nashville mainstream. The album includes his take on material that highlights his baritone voice and straightforward country approach, sitting somewhere between traditional Nashville production and the grittier style he would later become known for.
