Wings' *Band on the Run* is a 1973 rock album from Paul McCartney's post-Beatles group, recorded largely in Lagos, Nigeria under difficult circumstances. The album marked a creative and commercial turning point for McCartney, blending pop, rock, and theatrical elements across its ten tracks. The title track and "Jet" became two of the most recognizable songs of the era.
